Meat & Bread is a sandwich shop built around a small menu of chef-made sandwiches cooked from scratch and served fast. The signature is the porchetta sandwich, carved fresh to order at each shop, alongside a meatball sandwich, a buffalo chicken sandwich and a grilled cheese. A rotating feature sandwich changes regularly, and some locations offer their own sandwiches.

The Austin shop is at 360 Nueces Street, on the North Shore of the chain's Texas location. Orders can be placed ahead online. The company also runs a catering service and is part of a franchise program, with locations in Vancouver, Victoria and Calgary as well.
