Maralo, LLC has worked across the oil and gas industry since 1940, serving as an operator, non-operator and mineral owner. Its current work centers on managing and leasing a large inventory of minerals across the United States, while adding royalties, minerals and other properties through acquisitions. The company traces its roots to Ralph Lowe, who drilled his first oil well in 1940 and had drilled more than 25 wells along the Colby Sand Trend of Winkler County by 1943.

The Austin office handles land and minerals work, and the team includes Chief Executive Officer Mary Ralph Lowe, President Clayton Maebius and landman Mark Boyt. Lowe later took part in more than 500 wells across Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and New Mexico before his death in 1965, and he was elected to The Petroleum Museum Hall of Fame in 1973.
