Gati Icecream

Gati is a plant-based ice cream shop and cafe in Austin that started as a way to use up mangoes from the Thai Fresh kitchen. Its ice creams are made in small batches, many with four or fewer ingredients, and coconut milk based flavors are a specialty. The menu also includes espresso drinks made with beans from Greater Goods, and a gluten-free bakery with coffee cake, muffins, oatmeal cream pies and brownies.

The Holly Street location is open daily from 8 AM to 10 PM for ice cream, drinks and baked goods, with breakfast and lunch served weekdays until 2 PM and weekends until 3 PM. Orders can be placed online, and gluten-free cakes and cupcakes can be ordered for celebrations. A second location on Duval Street is listed as new, and digital gift cards are sold online.
