Don's Automotive

Don's Automotive is an auto repair shop working on Asian and domestic vehicles, operating since 1980. The shop is known for air conditioning service, with two automated AC machines and a third set aside for Toyota Prius and Honda hybrids. It also has a smoke machine leak detector and a professional-level scanner.

Work is by appointment to keep turnaround short, and the phone is the best way to reach the shop, since email is slower. Calls after hours go to voicemail, which is checked often over the weekend and returned quickly. The shop is in Austin, Texas, and is open Monday through Thursday, closed for Thanksgiving weekend and from Christmas through New Year's Day. It recycles as much as it can.
