Crow Bar Austin

Crow Bar Austin is a laid-back East Austin dive bar with craft cocktails, draft beer and wine, live punk, rock and metal shows, and a dark gothic look. The bar has two pool tables, a jukebox and several lounge spaces, and it has been open since 2010. Sonny Chub's runs the kitchen, serving thin-crust tavern pizza, sub sandwiches and fried chicken from a trailer in the lot.

The bar is open daily from 4 PM until 2 AM, with weekday happy hours and Thursday pint specials. Free pool tables are offered on Mondays and Tuesdays. The dog-friendly patio is a good spot for a drink with friends, and the Raven Room hosts open mic comedy, movie nights and sports as well as concerts. The bar is at 523 Thompson Lane.
