Codependent Coffee + Cocktails

Codependent is a coffee house and cocktail lounge sharing one room at the base of The Independent in downtown Austin. Mornings bring espresso, drip coffee and a breakfast menu of breakfast tacos, wraps and paninis, and after dark the same space turns into a cocktail bar with a drink list grouped by how each drink feels, plus a zero proof section, wine, beer and a happy hour.

Neighbors come in to work with a laptop during the day, meet friends or dates, or stop in for a drink in the evening. Walk-ins are welcome and tables can be booked, while groups of ten or more and private events go through a separate request process. The room has a patio for warmer days and DJ sets, live music or jazz on most evenings. Thursday through Saturday nights are 21 and over.
