David's Stump Grinding

David's Stump Grinding removes tree stumps, mostly oak and pine, grinding them 6 to 12 inches below grade so the spot can be backfilled with soil and seeded, laid with sod, or replanted nearby. The owner-operated company also handles surface root removal, small and medium tree removal, brush and land clearing, and light grading, hauling, and cleanup.

The grinder fits through a 36-inch gate, which helps with narrow backyard access in older Auburn lots and newer tract yards. Chips can be left in the hole, piled where you point, or hauled off if the volume is manageable. The company works from its shop on Sierra View Circle in Auburn and covers Placer County, including Loomis, Rocklin, Roseville, Granite Bay, Penryn, Newcastle, Colfax and Foresthill. Timber-sized trees, crane work and roof work are outside its scope.
