Camblin

Camblin Plumbing & Heating is a plumbing and heating contractor that has been in business since 1918, when Lou Camblin started it with a $200 loan from his mother. The company split into two divisions in 1997, one focused on residential work and the other on larger mechanical projects. Its licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians handle drain cleaning, sewer camera inspections, water heaters, fixtures and toilets, boiler repair and installation, and duct cleaning.

The company runs a 24/7 line for emergencies, and its office keeps regular weekday hours with limited Saturday availability by appointment. Camblin calls itself the oldest Lennox dealer in Southwest Iowa and runs an apprenticeship program licensed with the Iowa Department of Labor. Its service area is listed as Atlantic.
