Dog Wash Atlanta @ Kirkwood Car Wash

Kirkwood Car Wash has operated as a self-service car wash in East Atlanta since 1997, with eight bays where you wash your own vehicle using the equipment on site. Each bay offers a set of wash modes, from a presoak and foam brush to a low-pressure wax, and vacuums sit nearby for the interior. Dog Wash Atlanta, a separate operation out front, runs two self-service stations for bathing dogs, with shampoo, flea and tick shampoo, conditioner, warm water and a blow dryer built in.

No appointment is needed, and the bays and dog wash stations are open around the clock every day of the year, weather permitting. Payment works with tokens, quarters, $1 coins, and debit or credit cards. Bill changers take $1 to $20 bills and dispense tokens that work in the vacuums, bays and dog wash. A $4 minimum buys four minutes in a bay, and vehicles up to 8 feet tall fit. The property sits at the corner of Oakview Road and Hosea L. Williams Drive in the Kirkwood business district.
