Houston's Custom Framing and Fine Art

Houston's Custom Framing and Fine Art is a custom picture framing shop with a gallery of fine art by several represented artists. The shop frames everything from children's drawings and family photographs to oversized pieces, shadowboxes and delicate works on paper, using conservation-grade boards, hinges and glazing. It also offers photo restoration, pet portraits and art restoration with appraisal referrals. Owner Thomas M. Houston is a Master Certified Picture Framer, and the shop has a large molding selection that includes hand-carved lines and 23k gold finishes.

Clients can bring work to the shop at 280 East Hersey Street in Ashland, or send pieces by mail or courier from out of state. For remote projects, the team sketches options and uses visualization software to show a proposed frame and mat combination before any framing begins. Questions about a specific piece are welcome before packing. Pet portraits and restorations are priced by package or quoted on request, and the shop can ship finished pieces anywhere.
