Paranormal Books & Curiosities

Paranormal Books & Curiosities is a bookstore specializing in paranormal literature, folklore and local history, paired with The Paranormal Museum next door in the same space. The museum houses a collection of haunted objects, including eerie dolls, Ouija boards and other artifacts, and is known for its chilling atmosphere. The business also runs walking tours of Asbury Park, including its Original Ghost Tour, shipwreck and storm history, LGBTQ+ history and a haunted pub tour.

Museum visits with private tours must be scheduled in advance. The shop and museum are open Saturday from 12 to 6 PM and Sunday from 12 to 5 PM, and at other times by appointment. Seances, lectures and gallery nights are held through the year. The shop is on Cookman Avenue in downtown Asbury Park.
