Modelhom Furniture + Design

Modelhōm Furniture + Design sells living room, dining, bedroom, office, rug and accessory furniture from more than 30 manufacturers, with a focus on quality pieces at affordable prices. Its design team pairs furniture selection with personalized design help for a single room or an entire home.

Design services come in two forms: an in-home visit where designers measure the space and review your style, followed by a private showroom appointment with layout options and a consolidated furnishing list, or a one-on-one session with a designer in the showroom. The store is in Arroyo Grande at 1185 E Grand Avenue, in a renovated 1950s warehouse. Founders Karen and James Deering started the business in 2002 in a storage unit in Nipomo.
