MTFA Architecture, PLLC

MTFA Architecture is a full-service architecture firm with roots in cultural preservation and sustainable design. Its work covers religious, educational, institutional, hospitality, and government projects, from programming and design through renovation, contract documents, and construction administration. The firm also handles building evaluations and master planning, and its preservation practice draws on the expertise of John Milner Associates Preservation.

Most of the firm's projects are in Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland, though it has worked around the world. MTFA is an independent small business based on Langston Boulevard in Arlington, and it is SWaM-certified. Clients typically come to the firm for buildings that need to serve a community over a long time, including older structures that need careful evaluation before any changes.
