Wriston Art Galleries

Wriston Art Galleries is the art gallery of Lawrence University, made up of three exhibition spaces that show contemporary artists, selections from the university's collection, and the annual Senior Art Show. The collection holds around 6,000 objects, including prints, drawings, paintings, sculptures, textiles, coins, and ritual and vernacular objects, many donated by alumni and friends of the university.

The galleries are free and open to the public, though since February 2026 people who are not current students, faculty, or staff need to make an appointment by calling 920-832-6890 or emailing wriston-gallery@lawrence.edu. The galleries are open during academic-year exhibitions and closed in summer, and they are located in the Wriston Art Center on East College Avenue in Appleton.
