Mondo! on the River is a riverside restaurant on the Fox River known for seasonal menus built on locally sourced ingredients and a Golden Fork award for best overall restaurant and best seafood. The kitchen serves a full menu from 4 PM, with a pizza and snack bar menu available all day. A well-chosen wine list and full bar round out the meal.
The restaurant is open Tuesday through Saturday in the afternoon and evening, closed Sunday and Monday, and the kitchen closes half an hour before closing time. Delivery is offered, and reservations can be made through the website. The bar also has a small wine shop where most bottles are under $20, selected by owner David Oliver. The restaurant is at 425 W.
