Heid Music

Heid Music is a family-owned music store in downtown Appleton, selling and renting band instruments, pianos, guitars, orchestra instruments, sheet music and accessories. The shop is known for its piano lineup, including grand pianos and Yamaha Disklavier models, and for music lessons and instrument rentals for school band students.

The Appleton store sits on the corner of College Avenue and Durkee Street, within walking distance of downtown, and customers often stop in over a lunch break to try out a guitar or talk with the staff about instruments. Heid Music also offers used instruments, repair services and a rent-to-own program, and it runs lessons in several Wisconsin cities. Gift cards are available.
