Team Dumdumaya

Team Dumdumaya teaches Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai and mixed martial arts for kids and adults. Andre Dumdumaya, a third-degree black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu under Cesar Gracie, leads the team, which started in a converted garage in late 2010 and moved to a larger space in Oakley before settling in its current location.

Classes run on a weekly schedule, with kids' jiu-jitsu for ages 5 to 14, Muay Thai for ages 5 and up, early morning and evening adult sessions, and a Saturday fundamentals and open mat session. Families can sign the online waiver before their first visit. The gym is in the industrial part of Antioch known as The Vineyard, and the team has been there since 2020.
