Imperial RV Center

Imperial RV Center is a family-owned RV dealership in Ankeny that has served customers around Des Moines and Central Iowa since 1971. The lot carries a large selection of new and used travel trailers, fifth wheels and toy haulers from leading brands such as Alpine, Avalanche, Sprinter, Passport, Arcadia, Hideout and Wildwood. The dealership also runs a service department and a parts and accessories counter with hitch and tow products and RV maintenance supplies.

New owners get a custom starter pack and an instructional class on using the RV. The business is run by third generation of the same family, which started with founder Jack Wilhelm at the current South Ankeny Boulevard location. Customers can search inventory online, use the tow guide to check what they can pull, and get trade-in values through the website. Weekday hours are 8 AM to 5 PM with a shorter Saturday morning schedule, and the dealership is closed Sundays.
