First Class HALT

First Class HALT is an independent auto repair and maintenance shop that services Honda, Acura, Lexus and Toyota vehicles, with ASE certified technicians and OEM parts. Its owner, Mark Maitland-Smith, opened the shop in 2011 after years of working on imported cars, and the shop positions itself as a lower-cost alternative to the dealership for routine maintenance and repairs.

The shop uses no commission-based pay, which it says keeps recommendations honest, and it offers a 3 year or 36,000 mile nationwide warranty with roadside assistance. A free shuttle runs to customers in the Greenville, Cherrydale, Anderson and Mauldin area on weekdays. The Anderson location is on Mutual Drive, with additional locations in Cherrydale, Greenville and Mauldin.
