Lost Dog Cafe

Lost Dog Cafe is a restaurant that began in 1985 as a small wine, beer, and cheese shop in Arlington's Westover neighborhood. It is known for its food and its extensive beer selection, with rotating micro-brews featured at each location.

The cafe has locations in North Arlington, McLean, Dunn Loring, and Alexandria, and each is owned and operated by former employees and members of the Lost Dog family. The business also runs catering and sells merchandise and gift cards. Its founders started rescuing dogs early on, and the cafe supports the Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation, a nonprofit that finds homes for homeless dogs and cats. The Alexandria location is at 808 North Henry Street.
