GoHealth Urgent Care

GoHealth Urgent Care treats non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries for patients ages six months and older. Common visits include colds and flu, sore and strep throat, ear infections, asthma, allergies, skin infections and rashes, and minor injuries such as sprains, simple fractures and cuts that need stitches. Flu shots, RSV care, COVID-19 testing, STD testing and UTI care are also offered, and the center has on-site X-ray and lab services.

Walk-ins are welcome, and patients can save a spot or check in online before arriving. Virtual visits are available for care from home, but life-threatening symptoms such as chest pain, severe bleeding or breathing problems call for 911 or the nearest emergency room. The Alexandria center is open seven days a week with extended hours, accepts most insurance including Medicare and Medicaid, and is locally owned.
