Woods Hollow Children's Center

Woods Hollow Children's Center is a nonprofit child care center for children from six weeks through third grade, sponsored by Promega Corporation and Usona Institute. It has been NAEYC accredited since 1996, and the center was re-accredited in 2022, with a curriculum built around hands-on learning and lots of play.

The center is open to the public, with priority for children of Promega and Usona Institute employees, Woods Hollow staff, and siblings of enrolled children. Weekday hours run from 7:15 AM to 5:30 PM for full-time enrollment. Children use nature trails, the Fitchburg Center Prairie and a rain garden, and meals are prepared on site. The center is a peanut butter and tree-nut-free environment, and families are welcome to observe or join in activities. It is located on Research Park Drive in Fitchburg.
