Piatanzi

Piatanzi serves Italian small plates built on organic, farm-raised and locally sourced ingredients. Chef Pete Lukes, who previously owned and ran Terra Bistro in Albuquerque's North Valley, created the restaurant as a neighborhood gathering spot for good food and wine. Most of the menu can be made gluten-free, with options for about 90 percent of the dishes.

The restaurant is on Girard Boulevard Northeast, and the dining room is described as warm and welcoming. Evening service runs Wednesday through Sunday, with seating ending in the evening, and pizza is not offered on Wednesdays. Reservations can be booked online through Resy or by phone, and carry-out orders are placed by calling the restaurant.
