Authentic Native American jewelry, pottery and art bought directly from artists1504 Lomas Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM

Palms Trading Company sells Native American jewelry, pottery, kachina dolls, stone fetishes, storytellers and rugs, much of it bought straight from the artists who made it. The business began as a local grocery where Native American makers traded their crafts for groceries, and it still focuses on one-of-a-kind pieces from Pueblo, Navajo and Hopi artists. Turquoise jewelry and Zuni and Hopi pottery are among the lines on its shelves.
The shop is on Lomas Boulevard in Albuquerque and is open Monday through Saturday, with Sundays closed apart from select dates. In the store, customers pay half the suggested retail price unless a piece is marked net, and the same discount shows online. A personal shopper service can help with gift picks, and the shop also buys old Native American jewelry and pottery. Domestic website orders over $150 ship free.
