Goodwill Industries of New Mexico

Goodwill Industries of New Mexico is a local nonprofit agency that runs thrift stores and offers free job training and social services. Its employment programs include GoodJobs employer matching, GoodSkills job readiness and life skills classes, JumpStart career guidance for youth ages 16 to 22, paid work experience for job seekers 55 and older, and help for veterans. It also runs free solar and HVAC installer training courses.

The programs are funded mainly by sales of donated clothing, housewares and furniture, so donations of gently used items are accepted at its New Mexico stores and through home pickup. The corporate office is at 1030 18th Street NW in Albuquerque, and the organization offers a free community room for groups of up to 60 people.
