Empire Boardgame Library

Empire Boardgame Library is a board game library where visitors can play any game in the collection for an hourly rate per person. The library holds a large, well-organized selection, from family and kids titles to party, cooperative and more complex strategy games, and staff will teach you how to play. A small cafe serves coffee, specialty drinks, chai, hot chocolate, snacks and sweet treats, and some visitors come in for a meal.

The space is set up for groups and dates, and many customers come back to try new games before buying one. Games that are available can be purchased, and the library is on Central Avenue NE in Albuquerque, in the Nob Hill area. Parking in the neighborhood can be limited. Hours run from noon into the late evening, with the library closed on Mondays and open later on Friday and Saturday nights.
