CWA Local 7011

CWA Local 7011 is a Communications Workers of America local that represents private sector workers across New Mexico in a variety of industries. It helps workers organize their workplaces and represents members on the job. In 2023, members joined SAG-AFTRA performers on the picket line at Netflix Studios in Albuquerque.

Workers interested in forming a union at their job can get in touch through the local's contact information. General membership meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month, in person and on Zoom, from 7 to 9 PM, and the local also runs a District 7 human rights call for members. The local merged with three other New Mexico locations on August 1, 2023, so it now serves the whole state. Meetings are held at the Truman Street location in Albuquerque.
