Champion Cheer Central

Champion Cheer Central is an independent event producer that has been running cheer and dance competitions since 1984. Its calendar covers school, All Star, recreational and open dance divisions, with championship weekends such as the Hard Rockin' National All Star Cheerleading Championships in Cleveland and the Lake Erie National Cheer and Dance Championships in Erie, which closes out the season. Bids to The Cheerleading Worlds and to The ONE Prime Finals are awarded at selected events.

Teams register online, and the competition staff are company employees rather than volunteers. The 2026-2027 season also includes a virtual competition, Cheer and Dance Through the Decades, where teams upload routine videos and compete without leaving their gym. The company's address is in Albion, while its live events are held at convention centers and arenas in several cities.
