Animal Health Center of Iowa

Animal Health Center of Iowa is a veterinary practice with clinics in Albia, Oskaloosa, Knoxville, Ottumwa and Centerville. It treats dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, rodents, cattle, horses, goats, sheep and poultry, with both small animal and large animal care under one name. A grooming salon and boarding facilities serve pets as well.

New clients can fill out their paperwork online before a first visit. Staff take questions by phone, and a doctor calls back when more information is needed. Boarding dogs stay in a climate-controlled building with large runs and beds or blankets. The Albia clinic is at 1976 684th Avenue, and the practice is owned by its veterinarians.
