Tasteful Expectations

Tasteful Expectations is a catering company in Akron that handles weddings, corporate lunches and receptions, graduations, showers and private parties. Its menus are built around each client's budget and headcount rather than a package sheet, and the company also prepares dessert tables, custom cakes, grazing tables and boxed lunches from the same kitchen. Hibachi grill parties and taco bars are among its party options.

Catering requests are best sent early, with about two weeks of lead time suggested and busy weekends filling first. The company covers Akron and nearby counties in Northeast Ohio, including Summit, Medina, Stark, Cuyahoga and Portage, and will say whether it can serve venues just outside that area. Pickup and delivery are offered for platters, and the company is based on East Market Street.
