N M Furniture

N M Furniture is a furniture workshop in Akron that builds custom solid wood pieces and handles furniture repair, upholstery and restoration. Custom work includes couches, window seats, booths, chairs, outdoor furniture with cushions and custom pillows, and the shop also restores family heirlooms and updates older pieces. The shop has worked on commercial projects, including seating for the University of Akron and a retirement home.

Furniture can be ordered through a custom process that starts with an initial conversation about the piece, followed by design and construction. The shop carries a large on-site fabric inventory and can direct customers to fabric partners. Delivery covers Akron and Cleveland along with select areas of Summit and Cuyahoga County, and a free estimate is available. Typical furniture repair turnaround is about two weeks.
