Home Works Repair

Home Works Repair is an in-home appliance repair company that works on both domestic and foreign brands. It services free-standing and gas or electric ranges, cooktops, wall ovens, over-the-range microwaves, refrigerators, freezers, wine coolers, washers, dryers and dishwashers, and it can handle sealed system components, motors and transmissions. Technicians run diagnostic tests before quoting, and the company will not diagnose a problem over the phone.

Service calls are scheduled by phone, with the next available day offered, though an exact arrival time cannot be promised because the schedule fills up. A paid diagnostic visit includes a 30 day price quote, and paid repairs carry a 90 day labor warranty. The company covers Summit, Portage and Medina counties from its Akron base, including Fairlawn, Kent, Medina and Wadsworth.
