Area Cremation Group

Area Cremation Group is a cremation provider in Akron that handles arrangements from the time of a death through the return of cremated remains. The business takes a family's loved one into its care from the place of passing, registers the death with the Department of Health, and applies for the state cremation permit. Its base package is a low-cost cremation that includes an online arrangement planner, professional services, and an onsite crematory.

Families can start arrangements online or by phone, and the business offers 24-hour availability for immediate need. Cremated remains are ready for pickup at its Opportunity Parkway location within seven business days of a signed and certified death certificate. Office hours are limited and mostly by appointment, and a full price list with additional fees is posted on the site.
