A Walk in the Park Cafe

A Walk in the Park Cafe is a neighborhood breakfast and lunch cafe in Akron's Firestone Park, known for breakfast sandwiches, omelets, salads and a menu that includes burgers and sandwiches. Coffee drinks, including seasonal lattes and frappes, are a big part of the offering, and the cafe is open for breakfast and lunch.

The cafe also has a paint-while-you-wait setup where guests choose colors and paint at their table starting at $5, and all painting proceeds go to the Unlimited Imagination Foundation. Private events for up to 40 guests can be booked in the space for $300 for three hours, with one staff member included. Orders can be placed online, and the cafe is at 1491 Aster Avenue in Akron.
