Sprinkles Donut Shop

Sprinkles Donut Shop makes its donuts, icings and fillings from scratch each day, including its bavarian cream, which is often still cooling when the evening donut making begins. The shop traces its roots to the late Gary VanderStelt Sr, who baked for more than 50 years, and his son Gary VanderStelt Jr carries on the same focus on freshness and quality. Many of its ingredients are local, and the shop says it will not cut product quality to save money.

The Ada shop is one of several Sprinkles locations, with others in Allendale, Caledonia, Hudsonville, Grand Rapids, Muskegon and Rockford. Orders and pricing questions go through a phone call to the store, and the shop is closed on Mondays. Donation requests are handled through a form on the website.
