Paws -N-Claws

Paws -N-Claws is a family-owned pet shop that raises many of its own small animals, including guinea pigs, hedgehogs, rats, mice, chinchillas and hamsters, along with parakeets, lovebirds and cockatiels. The store also carries tropical and freshwater fish, bioactive isopod setups, live feeder insects and a large selection of dog toys, bird toys and pet food.

You can shop in person or online, and the shop takes special orders for animals and products it does not stock. Puppies are special ordered from breeders the owners know personally. The store is open six days a week, Monday through Saturday, and is closed Sundays. It is at 312 North Cedar Street in Abilene, Kansas, and calling ahead is a good idea for feeder stock.
