New Day Wellness & Recovery is a peer-led center in Aberdeen that supports people working toward long-term recovery from mental health and substance use. Its services include one-on-one peer support, group peer services, support groups, and peer case management, along with GED education and help with housing. When a need falls outside what the center offers, staff connect people with other providers. The center also runs peer recovery certification and training for people who want to help others on their own recovery path.
The center is open weekday mornings, with Friday hours not offered on the second and fourth Fridays of the month. Donations of goods and volunteer help are both welcome. New Day is located at 126 North Philadelphia Boulevard in Aberdeen, and its newsletter sign-up is available on the website for anyone who wants updates on events and trainings.
